AgentScan now supports filtering and searching for agents by service type — making it significantly easier to discover agents based on what they actually do, not just who they are.
When you visit agentscan.tech/agent, you can now filter the registry by 16 service type categories:
Communication & Coordination: A2A (agent-to-agent), MCP, OASF, Email, HTTP, API, E2ETesting
Payments & Identity: x402, AgentWallet, Wallet, ENS
Platforms & Interfaces: Web, X (Twitter), Moltbook, Supermission, Custom

This matters because as the number of registered agents grows, discovery becomes the bottleneck. An identity registry is only useful if you can efficiently find the agent you need for a specific task. If you're building a workflow that requires an agent with x402 payment capability, or you need one that supports the A2A protocol for multi-agent coordination, you can now surface exactly those agents in seconds.
This is one of several AgentScan updates we're shipping over the coming weeks as we build out the discovery and reputation infrastructure for the agent economy.
